To the Editor:
I’m not sure what all the fuss is of divorcing the RSU is
really all about. Consolidating and becoming RSU 21 has been the best thing for
ML Day and the town of Arundel! Since the consolidation, ML Day has higher NECAP
test scores, the school budget is lower and now in compliance with state
regulations. I hear that a lot of people are not happy about paying for school
renovations at MSK and KHS (because Arundel students would not benefit from
these renovations). Having worked in a sick building, it is not a fun experience
at all.
