ARUNDEL — Although the Board of Selectmen had
previously announced that it would not issue a public statement about
the possible withdrawal of
Arundel from RSU 21, Chairwoman Velma Jones
Hayes said Oct. 10 that there have been "vast improvements" since
Arundel joined with the RSU 21 and she is in favor of staying with the
district.
She made that announcement at a
public hearing after resident Matt Sylvanus asked each board member to
disclose their personal opinion on the question.
