Why do you believe the voter turn out was so low in all three communities for a $35.9 MILLION DOLLAR Budget? This should be concerning to all three communities!

    1. Maybe the communities as a whole believe the school board is acting responsible.

  2. I agree, it should be of concern to all three communities. Importantly, Arundel voted it down. Historically, Arundel hasn't passed a budget since consolidation. From what I am understanding, a lot of people didn't know about the vote.

    1. Do you mean just like they did not know what they were voting on with the cost sharing? Maybe the anti crowd is starting to understand the real issue. Even the no votes in arundel had weak numbers.

  4. RSU23 passed their budget of $42.4m. You want to be a part of that rsu?
Biddeford's budget passed at $28m. You may think the grass is greener elsewhere, but you better do your homework.

    1. I'd posit that a lack of self-education is exactly the reason this small group of people feels we should withdraw, why they cried about tax increases if we'd voted for a cost-sharing formula last year, and why some don't feel that MLD's programs are something our children should be participating in.

I'm terribly disappointed at the abysmal turnout. Why don't people care about what goes on in this town? It's the small group of angry people who are going to determine what happens if those non-participating, non-voting people don't wake up.
