Touching is Believing:
When the Bootmobile made a surprise visit to the Mildred L. Day elementary school in Arundel, ME on Friday, it seemed most of the kids just needed to get their hands on the vehicle to make sure it was real!
The big boot made
the trip in recognition of third graders at the school who, after
reading about L.L.Bean’s 100th Anniversary, wrote letters to company CEO
Chris McCormick asking all manner of questions about L.L., the company,
and especially the Bootmobile. We were so impressed with the quality
of their writing and the enthusiasm of their questions, we felt they
deserved to get a first-hand look.
