ALFRED — An Arundel woman has been sentenced to jail after stealing from a Kennebunk children’s clinic she ran, including writing herself $200,000 in checks. The clinic was was forced to close.
Mari Jo Allen, 42, of 12 Hilltop Drive, Arundel, the former executive director of the Pediatric Evaluations for Developmental Solutions Clinic (PEDS Clinic), was sentenced Friday, July 12 in York County Superior Court to four years in prison, with all but 20 months suspended. She has also been ordered to pay $76,561 in restitution.
