Arundel already has a well-established town center

To the editor:
Recent articles in your paper report on Arundel’s journey to find its center. I’ve even attended a few town meetings when this topic was being discussed.
As an Arundel resident, I’m somewhat curious and a bit puzzled by the whole process.
First we residents were asked to complete a survey (I did).
Then we were asked our input about what and where (zoning) the town center should be.
Now we’ve sent $25,000 to folks from away to tell us what we think we want to know. Isn’t this like paying someone to look at your watch and telling you what time it is? OK if one is visually impaired, I guess.
