The
Board of Directors of the organization voted unanimously on Tuesday,
July 10 to change the Chamber's name to the
Kennebunk-Kennebunkport-Arundel Chamber of Commerce. The change was made
in order to recognize the town of Arundel as being vital to the
economic success of Southern Maine. There are a lot of good things
happening in Arundel and the Kennebunk-Kennebunkport-Arundel Chamber is
ready to assist the town of Arundel any way it can, including by
participating in economic development activities and planning, said Jim
Fitzgerald, president and CEO of the Chamber.
